This year’s Sea Fisherman’s festival was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the restoration of the seaport. The event brought together communities and guests with concerts, a documentary film about the Šventoji lighthouse, a traditional craft fair, performances by young sailors, and maritime competitions, creating a festive atmosphere and reminding everyone of the town’s maritime heritage.

Ignitis Renewables, a green energy company, also joined in the festivities by organising educational activities for children and families about sustainable energy on Prieplaukos Street. Visitors were able to learn more about wind energy, build small wind turbine models, and children received educational workbooks. Through such initiatives, Ignitis Renewables strengthens its ties with coastal communities and raises awareness of important projects, including the planned Curonian Nord offshore wind farm.
