The 21st Kražiai Festival brought together the local community and visitors for a diverse programme of culture, music, theatre and entertainment. The Ignitis Renewables team also joined the festival, inviting visitors to learn more about renewable energy.
At the Ignitis Renewables space set up next to the former Kražiai College, visitors could take part in a variety of activities – play Jenga and noughts and crosses, put on virtual reality glasses and experience what it is like to rise to the top of a wind turbine. The youngest festival-goers were also invited to enjoy soap bubbles.
Taking part in events like this is an opportunity to strengthen dialogue with communities, share knowledge about renewable energy and answer questions that matter to local residents. The Kražiai Festival organisers also highlighted the importance of cooperation with Ignitis Renewables – the company not only contributes to the festival, but also actively takes part in its programme.
