On September 6, we participated in the harvest festival in Większyce. For us, it was not only an opportunity to celebrate the end of the harvest together, but also the last harvest festival of the year, during which we were able to meet with residents, representatives of local organizations, and local government officials.
The Ignitis Renewables zone attracted a lot of interest from visitors. Many guests took advantage of the chance to learn about renewable energy in an engaging way, and the virtual tour of the inside of a wind turbine proved particularly popular. There was also plenty of fun to be had at the photo booth, which allowed everyone to take home souvenirs from this special day.
The most valuable aspect, however, was the conversations. Residents eagerly visited our zone, shared their insights, asked questions, and showed interest in our activities. We were met with a very warm welcome, openness, and a willingness to engage in dialogue. We are glad that even during these first meetings, we recognized the potential to build long-term, neighbourly relationships based on mutual respect and trust.
