Jonas is an experienced finance professional. Since joining the Ignitis Group in 2016, Jonas has been leading M&A activities and capital raising projects, including Ignitis Group’s IPO, and Green Bonds issues. Additionally, Jonas has been serving as Chair and Member of the Management Board at Ignitis Renewables since January 2019. Prior to joining the Group, Jonas had accumulated experience in the areas of investment banking and corporate finance at Swedbank, EY and Telia.

Vytenis has more than ten years of experience in the area of renewable energy and strategic leadership, as well as in the development of business models for energy management, supply and generation, including solar energy, battery energy storage systems and EV charging solutions.

Previously, Vytenis managed Detra Solar, a company providing technical design and consulting services to renewables developers worldwide, and before that, he was CEO of Enefit Lietuva, an energy solutions company, where he strengthened the company’s market position to become the second-largest supplier and introduced innovative B2B and B2C energy solutions.

Experience 

Peter gained his experience by managing roles in various companies focused on developing green energy, such as DONG (now Ørsted) and Siemens Gamesa. Additionally, he has valuable experience in one of the Group’s strategic markets, Poland. Currently, Peter serves as an independent board member of Ignitis Renewables, while also holding a board position at the Danish company Danstoker Group, one of the world’s leading companies of various technical solutions for the international energy and environmental sectors.

Education

Peter earned a Master’s degree in energy sector, Mechanical Engineering from Aalborg University in Denmark and further developed his business administration skills at Vitus Bering University College in Horsens.

Experience

Gary is a C-Level executive with a distinguished track record of more than 20 years driving business growth in the renewable energy sector. Gary joined Ignitis Renewables as Chief Operating Officer in 2022, with the company expanding substantially during this period, from 25 FTEs to over 350.

His international expertise, which includes projects across the EMEA region and the Americas, has been invaluable in supporting Ignitis Renewables’ ongoing growth while building its development, construction and operations teams.

Experience

Augustas is a financial executive with more than 20 years of experience, including more than 10 years working with finances in the energy industry.

Augustas joined Ignitis Renewables as Chief Financial Officer in 2022. Since then, he has provided financial expertise to the company, including coordinating finance related functions like financial planning, reporting, investments, and supporting the Group in large project financing transactions.

Augustas gained extensive experience in the energy industry, including involvement in Lithuania’s LNG supply project, electricity distribution grid expansion and other projects. Experience in energy industry gained after a decade spent working in banking, insurance and financial auditing companies.

Experience

Laurynas is an experienced executive with a background in economics and finance and over 20 years of managerial experience.

Laurynas currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Ignitis Renewables, a position he took on in 2022. In this role, Laurynas has been working intensively on the company’s strategic development, overseeing investments into new projects, along with leading procurement, insurance and off-take functions. This builds on his work done as CFO from 2019 to 2022, and as interim CEO.

Before joining Ignitis Renewables, Laurynas worked in financial management roles within the energy sector, including 5 years as CFO of EnePRO. Prior to working in the energy sector, he held roles in financial auditing company KPMG Baltics and money transfer company Western Union.

Experience

Michael is an experienced operations leader who has spent more than a decade of experience in the renewable energy field. He focuses on managing portfolios and assets in wind, solar, and hybrid power projects.

Before joining Ignitis Renewables, Michael was the Head of Service at Vestas in Vietnam. There, he took charge of an impressive 1.6 GW portfolio that included over 400 wind turbines, both onshore and offshore, while leading a team of more than 100 people. Before that, Michael held various leadership positions at Vestas in North America, including Senior Construction Manager, where he oversaw the on-site execution of up to 2GW of wind EPC, repower, and installation agreements.

His global expertise, which spans Europe, Asia, and the Americas, is instrumental in supporting Ignitis Renewables’ growth and ensuring operational excellence as the company broadens its portfolio.
