On 20 June, the traditional village festival Under the Summer Sky („Po vasaros dangumi“) took place in Guostagalis, bringing together local residents, former community members, and visitors for a day of celebration and activities in the open air.

The Ignitis Renewables team joined the event programme by inviting festival attendees to visit the company’s activity area. Visitors had the opportunity to take part in educational activities, learn more about green energy, and enjoy a range of interactive experiences.

One of the highlights was the virtual reality experience, which allowed participants to explore the inside of a wind turbine and enjoy the view from the top of its tower. Younger visitors enthusiastically joined various games and explored educational booklets, while guests also had the chance to capture memorable moments with instant photographs.

During the evening programme, Giedrė Skerniškienė, Head of Community Relations at Ignitis Renewables, welcomed the festival participants and expressed her appreciation for the strong Guostagalis community, which continues to preserve its history, traditions, and close community spirit.
