We participated in the harvest festival in Jędrzejów, a village in the Opole Province, where we plan to develop one of our wind projects. Although it was quite a small event, there was no shortage of a joyful atmosphere, interesting conversations, and shared fun.
The Ignitis Renewables zone attracted a lot of interest from the locals. The activities we organized drew in both children and adults. Visitors could see how a wind turbine works using a model, look inside a turbine with VR goggles, and learn how a wind farm operates by putting together wooden puzzles.
Conversations were a key part of the event. This is a great opportunity for us to answer residents’ questions, discuss renewable energy, and talk about the projects we’re implementing. Such meetings are particularly important to us because we believe in the idea of good neighborhood. We want to be close to local communities, listen to their needs, engage in dialogue, and build relationships based on mutual respect and trust.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth. The warm atmosphere, the residents’ openness, and the participants’ positive energy made it an exceptionally successful day. We are glad we could be part of this event, putting into practice our commitment to being close to people and being a good neighbor to local communities.
