The jubilee 20th Kražiai Festival brought together local residents, visitors and communities for a rich and diverse celebration. Over two days, the festival offered a wide range of culture and entertainment, featuring classical and popular music performances, theatre productions, sports competitions, and evening concerts by well-known artists, culminating in a fireworks display. The anniversary festival became not only a celebration, but also an important expression of community spirit, highlighting Kražiai’s cultural vitality and long-standing traditions.
Ignitis Renewables, the developer of Kelmė wind farm, participated in the festival by setting up an educational zone on the second day of the event. Children were invited to create and decorate kites and fly them across the festival grounds, while adults could explore exhibits from the Energy and Technology Museum, try out electric bicycles and learn about electricity generation through interactive activities. One of the most popular attractions was the virtual reality experience, which allowed participants to explore the inside of a wind turbine and view the entire wind farm from a bird’s-eye view.
