A traditional community festival, Crafts that Clothe, Adorn and Feed You, held in the village of Girininkai, brought together local residents, families and visitors for a shared celebration. The event offered activities for all age groups, including presentations by artisans and local producers, entertainment for children, community initiatives and fishing competitions, which attracted both participants and curious spectators. The festival became a space not only to celebrate, but also to spend time together, connect and strengthen community ties.
Ignitis Renewables also participated in the festival by inviting visitors to take part in educational activities focused on renewable energy. Festival participants had the opportunity to learn more about wind energy and, using virtual reality technology, step inside a wind turbine to see how it works from within. The educational area attracted great interest from both children and adults, while company representatives gladly engaged with visitors, answered questions and shared insights, which helps build trust-based relationships with the local community.
