QUANTITATIVE ANALYST (F/M/D) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES

You will contribute to a green and secure energy ecosystem by: 

• Benchmarking different renewable energy generation forecast providers and forecasting methods
• Setting up new forecasting processes and managing input data flows to improve forecast accuracy
• Identifying and eliminating inefficiencies in the forecasting process
• Tracking the performance of the short-term trading portfolio and reporting relevant KPIs
• Automating repetitive quantitative calculations to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
• Preparing quantitative analyses to support decision-making for both internal and external stakeholders.

Required for this position:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience working in an analytical role in either business or academia
• Excellent computing skills, including proficiency in MS Office
• Coding experience for data analysis (e.g., VBA, R, Python, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to critically analyze complex issues and communicate solutions in a clear and simple manner
• Understanding of statistics and financial modelling principles
• Fluency in English with strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Would be an advantage:

• Familiarity with energy market operating principles.
