About the role

As a Purchasing Specialist you'll:
  • Establish the Consultancy Services Category and co-develop the strategy
  • Collaborate with the suppliers of Renewables global Consultancy Services and Project Managers (colleagues in the regions) to ensure the delivery of Onshore Wind and Solar projects on time and within budget
  • Leverage and manage major supplier relationships by improving commercial and service delivery
  • Improve total costs of ownership through decreasing transactional costs
  • Negotiate contracts and lead sourcing activities including benchmarking.

About you

You'll thrive as a Purchasing Specialist if You:
  • Have a university degree in (Supply Chain) Management, Legal, Logistics, Engineering or similar field
  • Have a track record of 2 years working in the supply chain / procurement team 
  • Have professional CP qualification: CIPS / CPSM Certification (or similar) is an added value
  • Have experience in negotiating complex issues, creating solutions, implementing ERP’s and e-sourcing platforms
  • Are able to demonstrate understanding of the commercial contract management technique and procurement process
  • Have strong analytical, problem-solving, influencing and organizational skills
  • Have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers and customers
  • Are fluent in English (verbal and written communication). Ability to work in Polish, Latvian, Lituanian, Estonian or Romanian would be a distinct advantage.
