HEALTH AND SAFETY O&M SPECIALIST (F/N/D) I IGNITIS RENEWABLES

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Create and apply safety policies and guidelines for O&M activities and equipment use
• Perform risk assessments and job hazard analyses (JHAs) to identify hazards and implement controls for safe O&M activities
• Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and maintain reports for HSSE review
• Oversee contractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety rules, work permits, and scope execution across sites
• Align safety efforts across teams, contractors, and authorities while promoting a strong safety culture
• Develop, implement, and test emergency procedures with O&M teams to ensure readiness and compliance.

 

Required for this position:

• Higher education in health and safety studies
• Certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent are highly advantages. (training will be provided)
• 5 years of experience as Specialist in the O&M field or similar
• GWO or relevant qualifications, Working at height qualifications
• Compliance with the legislation regulating the qualification requirements of a health and safety specialist
• Have willingness to take further education as may be necessary in regard to the specific industry requirements
• Have ability to travel and stay overnight on as required basis
